PAYMENTS & ORDERS 

What payment methods can I use online? 

We accept payment via PayPal, MasterCard, Visa, Multibanco and MBWay (only for Portugal).

I have a gift card or discount code. How do I use it for an online purchase? 

It's as simple as adding your promo code at checkout once you have your shopping cart completed!You must confirm the validity dates of the code, to ensure that it is applied to the purchase. For some other reason is it not working? Email us: customercare@lightning---bolt.com

How do I make sure I order the right size?

I’ve made a mistake on my order. Can I change it? 

Please send an email with customercare@lightning---bolt.com with the order number or any information that could help us find it. If is still on time, we will help you!

I want to buy a surfboard. Does the purchase follow the same terms and conditions of apparel?

Our surfboards are a special and customizable product. Therefore, they need a process even more exclusive.  

All our surfboards are handmade and customizable, which means that the manufacturing process must take the necessary time to deliver you an exquisite product. Depending on the surfboard model and shaper, the delivery will take from 6 to 12 weeks, in case we don’t have it in stock. For the transportation, we use specialized transport services whose delivery time may reach a maximum of 14 working days, after confirmation of shipment. 

SHIPPING & RETURNS 

How long will it take to receive my order? 

This largely depends on your location and the delivery provider used. However, orders typically take between 2 – 3 business days to be delivered and can be tracked online. For surfboards, you need to check the specific T&C.

Can I track my shipment?

Of course! You will receive an email with the tracking number related to your order.  

You just need to go to TNT website (if you are in Europe) , Fedex (if you are out of Europe) and put the tracking number.  

Will I have to pay any import tax or duty? 

No additional duties or customs duties are levied on items shipped. Please note that surfboards have a special shipping. Our returns may follow a different process.

Can I make a return? 

Despite it is not something usual for our customers/purchases 😊, of course you can. Returning an item is quick, easy and we’ll assist you to make a return or exchange: returns@lightning---bolt.com 

 The return process should be made within 14 days from the purchase, and in their original condition, unworn and unwashed with their original tags and invoice. Check the Shipping & Returns conditions to start the process.
