Las Américas Surf Pro emerged in the 70s, initiated by local, European, and American surfers?
The first championship took place in the 80s with the main theme being Wave Protection.
Surfers from around the world turned Playa de Las Américas and its Left wave, known as "Spanish Left" (La Izquierda), into a surfing landmark.

The Lightning Bolt Championship is a friendly competition aimed at truly engaging all Lightning Bolt enthusiasts and friends.

In this exclusive collaboration between Lightning Bolt, Las Américas Surf Pro, and Rebecka Skog, the identity elements of this Canary Island region take shape in the strokes of a Special Edition Capsule called "Surf en el Sur."

Between November 25 and 27, come witness the talent of Rebecka Skog, who will transform a wall at Hotel Bitácora, giving life to the "Surf en el Sur" art.
We invite all art and surf lovers to be part of this unforgettable event. Live painting will take place at Hotel Bitácora from 11:00 am, and your presence is essential to make this moment even more special.
LIGHTNING BOLT PIPELINERS - COLLECTOR SERIES - EXHIBITION
After success in France and Italy, it's now Spain's turn to explore the most iconic Lightning Bolt surfboards.
During the 15 days of the event, the boards will be on display at Hotel Bitácura, providing visitors a unique opportunity to appreciate them for free.
More than an exhibition, this will be a journey through the history of surfing, merging with the history of Lightning Bolt.
These surfboards are signed by the most iconic shapers of all time, making them true works of art that embody the heritage of Lightning Bolt and the unwavering commitment to craftsmanship and quality. We highlight the Pipeliner from the legendary Gerry Lopez.
This surfboard is a testament to his exceptional art and immense contributions to the world of surfing, as reflected in the film "The Yin and Yang of Gerry Lopez."
SCREENING - THE YIN & YANG OF GERRY LOPEZ
One of the highlights of the event is the exclusive screening of the film "The Yin & Yang of Gerry Lopez" in partnership with Patagonia. The cinematic experience is a true dive into the remarkable life and philosophy of our founder. An opportunity to better understand his spiritual connection with the ocean, the search for balance, and the profound impact he had on surf culture. A moment of inspiration!

Presentation of a new Lightning Bolt surfboard model
Lightning Bolt has a legacy to respect and keep alive but is also committed to building a legacy for the future. With this dynamic present in all its actions, Lightning Bolt will bring its authorized shaper, Vitor Spottt, and glasser Marco Miguel to shape a surfboard live during the event.
The big news this year will be the presentation of a new surfboard model: the Lightning Bolt Modern Mini Gun. This is a unique opportunity to witness the talent, quality, and uniqueness of handmade boards.
TEST-RIDE SURFBOARDS AND SURFSKATES
For those who want to experience the feeling of surfing on a Lightning Bolt surfboard or surfskate, this is the perfect opportunity. Surfboards and surfskates will be available for test-ride, in a 14-day experience where tradition, innovation, and pure energy converge.
How and when can you experience it?
Surfboards and surfskates will be available for test-ride between November 25 and December 8 at Playa de Las Américas, from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. You just need to present an ID, your email, and phone number, and you can have fun for 1 hour.
SURFSKATE CHAMPIONSHIP
PRESENTATION OF THE LIGHTNING BOLT SURFSKATE IN HARDCORK
For the first time at Las Américas Surf Pro, we will have the debut of a surfskate competition. Lasting for one day, Lightning Bolt will have the honor of awarding the winner of the competition with a surfskate in HardCork. A unique opportunity for enthusiasts to showcase their skills in such an iconic setting, like Calle Mexico.
