With different activities focused on sharing Lightning Bolt’s history and creating a new legacy for future generations, one of the great moments of the Lightning Bolt Festival will be the surf championship – only for retro surfboards, single or twin fins.

The championship is open to all ages, truly embracing all Lightning Bolt enthusiasts and friends in 3 categories: Women's Open, Men's -35 and Men's +35.
The winners of each category in competition - first, second and third places – will be awarded with surfboards from the new matte collection. These prizes add up to a total of more than €7,000.
Women’s Open:
1 – Lightning Bolt Mid-Length 7,4
2 – Lightning Bolt Quad Fish 5,8
3 – Lightning Bolt Hybrid 5,6
Men’s +35:
1 – Lightning Bolt Super Twin 6,1
2 – Lightning Bolt Pin Master 6,2
3 – Lightning Bolt Step Up 6,4
Men’s -35:
1 – Lightning Bolt Super Twin 6,1
2 – Lightning Bolt HP Shortboard 5,10
3 – Lightning Bolt Shortboard 6,0

Lightning Bolt has a great legacy to respect and keep alive, but he is also out to create a new legacy.
With this dynamic well present in all of his action, the authorized shapers Vitor Spottt and Juan Diego Evangelista are our special guests at this Festival!
Spottt will shape a 6'1 Lightning Bolt Super Twin Surfboard that is going to be a prize for the first place in the +35 Category. Juan Diego will create a beautiful Pipeliner from start to finish. A unique opportunity to check the talent, quality and uniqueness of handmade boards.
